#80 Unthinkable (2009)

Unthinkable tells the story of a homegrown American terrorist that is tortured by an ex-CIA interrogator. He's retired, but happens to be in the right place at the right time to get one more torture done before his family moves to another protection program. The terrorist claims he has three nukes in three cities that will go off unless his demands are met. He's former military so he knows how to handle the torture and they play into his every move. There's also an FBI agent against torture even if it means the bombs go off - clearly the movie is trying to evoke political feelings. It ends without us getting a solid resolution about the nukes and feels unfinished.

#79 Wolfman (2010)

What a disappointment. $200 million dollar budget and the CGI still sucks. You can tell there were reshoots and that they had trouble wrapping this one up. You can see a decent film under all the crap and only wish it was better. There are a few good action scenes and werewolf fights.

#78 Extract (2009)

Mike Judge is pretty hit or miss... and this time he missed. He's clearly trying to hard to be edgy and funny and it falls flat. At the vanilla extract plant that Jason Bateman owns has an industrial accident that causes a guy to lose his balls. Mila Kunis is a con artist and tries to get him to sue the company for millions and take advantage of the guy and pretend to be his girlfriend.

#77 Youth in Revolt (2010)

Michael plays Michael Cera until he finds a girl he wants to date and to get her he has to create a bad ass persona for himself. I laughed a few times, but it wasn't consistent enough throughout. Pace was off and the story felt pretty random.

#76 Das Experiment (2001)

Based partly on the Stanford Prison Experiment, it takes the story past the 6 days that the real experiment was stopped at and goes where things may have gone if it kept going for two weeks. Stuff gets pretty wild, but it's not completely out of line with human nature and other research on how people act in these high pressure situations.

#75 Slither (2006)

Awesome comedy-horror movie that I wish I saw sooner.

#74 Dead Snow (2009)

Nazi zombies are awesome. Dead Snow is a hilarious zombie romp through the mountains of Norway. The deaths are funny and the characters go from scared tourists to balls to the wall nazi killers.

#73 The Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

Worthy remake. Jackie Earle Haley does a great job as Freddy. He doesn't have time to joke anymore and is all about taking out his victims. I thought the origin story was explained too much and slowed the film down. Should have focused more on the victims to make us care about them more and gave him a few more people to kill.

#72 Let The Right One In (2008)

It still kicks ass my second time around. I really hope they don't ruin it with the American remake using Hitgirl in the lead role. Gonna be interesting to see the direction it takes.

#71 The Crazies (2010)

I haven't seen the original from the 70s, so I was expecting zombies with the story coming from Romero. It's just different enough to where it was fun to watch even though we've seen this type of story so many times over.

#70 Orphan (2009)

A semi-original horror movie! I was impressed with the twist and enjoyed this more than I thought I would based on the trailers last year. Creepy little girl. Good movie.

#69 Letters To Juliet (2010)

You can see the ending coming once the film starts, but there are a few laughs and it isn't utterly terrible like Seyfried's other movie. That's Vanessa Redgrave's real husband, too.

#68 Iron Man 2 (2010)

Iron Man 2 feels a little chaotic and cheesy at times, but still manages to be fun and cool to watch. Not as solid as the first movie, but still a great summer action flick.
