Based partly on the Stanford Prison Experiment, it takes the story past the 6 days that the real experiment was stopped at and goes where things may have gone if it kept going for two weeks. Stuff gets pretty wild, but it's not completely out of line with human nature and other research on how people act in these high pressure situations.

From the cover picture, I thought they would be doing medical experiments on the prisoners... and wasn't the star #77, and not #82 as shown here?
